"Like a burning candle within my soul,
surrounded by the darkness of night,
art has continuously taken me on many journeys
of self expression and realization.
Because those injured and beaten down rarely speak,
I find cause to fulfill a creative purpose.
My ultimate goal is to encourage and to uplift human hearts
through the universal language of art."
