About common household products used as substitutes for cleaning
product, pesticides, and laundry, like baking soda for scrubbing, metal
polish, toothpaste, deodorant, and a solution of vinegar and water
for glass cleaner, and pest control.

Read labels get familiar with names of ingredient terminology, try to
purchase selected organic foods.

Open windows ventilate the air in your home regularly.

Repair all water leaks, inspect home yearly for hidden water leaks to prevent the

Have separate cutting boards, one for vegetables the other for meat,
clean and disinfect regularly.

To remove chorine from drinking water let set overnight in a glass
container before consuming

How to get blood out of beef and pork; before cooking, coat meat with plenty of
salt, let set for about an hour, then soak in warm water 10 minuets, squeeze while
rinsing with plenty of warm water until all blood is out, and pat dry.

 

PETS:

Brewer's yeast 1 teaspoon to 40 lbs. fed to pets to combat fleas and
ticks, however some pets are allergic to yeast.

Natural mosquito flea and tick repellent; Apple cider vinegar diluted
50% with water used to spray coat several times daily in severe
infestations and weekly thereafter.
Adding a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to drinking water is also said
to deter fleas, however if your pet refuses to drink the water then an
alternative should be sought.
Another flea repellent tonic is to thinly slice 1 lemon add to boiling
water about 1 pint, steep overnight and apply with a sponge to pet, is
also said to be an effective antiseptic and treatment for mange.
