Breif History
The Isrealites
(The Old Testament)
Approximately 3254 years ago, a people known as Israelites descendants of Abraham an honorable man in the eyes of God, were persecuted and enslaved by the then powerful Egyptian empire. Moses a rare unique individual who could enter the most Holy of Holy places meaning the presence of God, was sent by God to plead with the Pharaoh of Egypt to let his people go. But the Pharaoh refused, and in one dreadful night known as Passover, God caused all of the first born males in Egypt to be slain, who's home was not marked by lamb's blood. The following day the grieving Pharaoh reluctantly let the Israelites go. Led by Moses the Israelites fled into the wilderness where God gave them His Ten Holy Commandments, statues, religious holidays, and precepts to live by, offering the forgives of sins through animal sacrifices, telling them that if they obeyed these laws they would be blessed, but if they disobeyed they would be cursed, and also that in the future there would rise a Prophet like Moses, but greater, of whome the people should obey and listen to. After 40 years in the wilderness the Israelites crossed the river Jordan and settled in the land of Canaan where they became the Great Nation of Israel and built a Holy Temple. But some Israelite kings and priests did not do what was right in the eyes of God, and God sent them prophets men and women guided by God to warn and direct them in the right way, but many wayward priests and kings refused and would not listen, murdering some of the prophets instead.
Jesus Born, Began Healing and
Teaching
(The New Testament)
Then around the beginning of this era, 2004 years ago God blessed a virgin Israelite handmaid named Mary to bear His son, who was to be named Jesus. As an adult Jesus performed many miracles in the land of Israel, healing all forms of sicknesses according to the faith of the individual. He taught the forgiveness of sins through repentance in Him, instructing the people to love one another, to be generous, to give to the poor, to cloth the naked, to feed the hungry, to forgive offences, to be merciful, and to turn the other cheek. Be it known that only true followers of Jesus love their enemies. He openly rebuked high ranking religious priests who were hypocritical altering the laws of God and seeking the praises of men over the honor of God. And although the religious priests studied the Old Testament Scriptures, they did not acknowledge the prophesies that were written about Jesus and labeled Jesus as a devil worthy of death. At the beginig of the religious holiday of Passover Jesus was captured, tortured, and crucified as a religious lawbreaker so they thought, but instead Jesus became The Most Holy Scarificial Lamb, atoning the sins of man.
After Jesus rose from the dead and before He ascended into heaven in a cloud, He told His disciples to go and tell all peoples of the world about eternal life that is given to anyone who belive in Him, the forgiveness of sins through repentance in Him, for believers to be baptized in water, and that His Holy Spirit would baptize them in fire and comfort them, that trials and persecutions would also affect His followers, and that a man's enemy would be those of his own household, but to not fear those that can kill the body but rather to fear God who has the power to destroy both body and soul in hell, and to be exceedingly glad when one is chosen to be worthy of persecutions during tribulations for great are their rewards in heaven. And to be beware of man-made religeous doctrines and immitation religeous teachers leaders that are hypocritial and twist scriptures. And that at an appointed time when all the earth has heard about Jesus, then He will return to earth again in a cloud and that the whole earth will see it, then He will judge the living and the dead, separating the goats from the sheep, or as it were true believers from religious hypocrites.
